All tips given the month of May will be donated to the JR (Max Jr.) Stough family of Coldwater. JR is 44 and is married to Carolyn who works at the Coldwater Library. They have two children, a freshman and seventh grader. On January 13, 2023, JR was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis, which affects the nervous system) and in November 2023 he was diagnosed with an aggressive blood cancer, AML Leukemia. He was initially treated at the James Hospital in Columbus for a month with strong chemotherapy. For the next several months he received outpatient chemotherapy. In April 2024 he received the wonderful news of being in remission. JR was self-employed at Polyworks Plastics in Coldwater, but is currently only working part-time.
